In 2006 the Centro Cultural Telemar supports the Cinema Capacete VI

Since 1998 CAPACETE has presented over 60 exhibitions with work by brazilian as well as international artists.

CAPACETE has developed collaborations with institutions in Rio de Janeiro and abroad. Beginning in 2001, CAPACETE started to work with the Festival do Rio (The Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival), presenting a series of video installations. This collaboration is in its six year in 2006. Since 2002 it has produced several exhibitions and projects in its headquarters at the new Cinema School Darcy Ribeiro, situated in the center of Rio de Janeiro. In 2003, CAPACETE began working with Cinema Tropical; an independent arts organization based in New York, to present a series of video screenings entitled TO FREE THE CINEMA. CAPACETE has been collaborating with several Rio based organizations such as Castelinho do Flamengo and Edifício Galaxi among others. International partners such as GASWORKS of Londres, AIR de PARIS of Paris, Galeria Metroplitana in Santiago de Chile, Fundação Daniel Langlois of Montreal and FRAME of Helsinki have collaborated on a continuous bases.
